Perry Link, Professor of East Asian Studies, specializes in 20th-century Chinese literature. He received his B.A. from Harvard in 1966 and his Ph.D. from Harvard in 1976. His publications include The Uses of Literature: Life in the Socialist Chinese Literary System (Princeton, 2000) and Banyang suibi (Notes of a Semi-Foreigner, in Chinese) (Taipei: Sanminchubanshe, 1999).
